I am not a liberal…
…because I was raised that way. I don’t lean to the left because I listen to others and blindly ape their opinions.
I am a liberal and leftist because I have objectively evaluated the world. I have looked at scientific studies and evaluated their results. From these results, and from my own standards of “fairness” and “equality”, I have formed my own opinions.
These opinions happen to be the ones that people have classified as liberal, and left leaning. So be it. I am still what I am because of reason, not because of ideology.

Even religious leaders wanted this out. Fucking dammit America, this is why young kids lose interest in being scientists. Misleading them with false information instead of teaching them scientific fact.
Look, if you want to teach this creationism bullshit, then save it for a fucking philosophy or religious class. Do not bring that shit into a science classroom. Because science is a mean bitch* with a very large strap on that doesn’t play.
I hate when people try to push this shit into classrooms and onto children. A good example would be with Answers in Genesis. Those motherfuckers are lying and scamming these children into horrid thinking and this has to stop.

Intelligent Design: Creationism in a new, cheap suit.
Brattin, the guy behind this bill seriously thinks that evolution isn’t a proven fact. And he thinks there’s high hope for the bill because “90% of people believe in a higher power.”
I hate this. I hate how people try to inject religion into science based on evolution being a theory, scientific theory. It won’t pass.
